Combat sports media outlets including MMA Fighting report YouTuber and boxer Logan Paul of the Paul brothers is transitioning to the world of sports entertainment or pro wrestling after signing with WWE.

The 27-year-old signed a multi-year dwal. WWE announced the news June 30 on social media. Per MMA Fighting:

“MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin confirmed with sources with knowledge of the signing that Paul’s contract is a multi-year deal. Ariel Helwani was first to report that Paul’s contract was a long term deal, adding that he will perform at an undisclosed number of live events per year and that it is likely that he will participate in a match at the WWE’s upcoming SummerSlam event, which takes place on July 30 at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn.”

A WWE.com post notes:

“Paul didn’t waste the opportunity to also deliver a message to The Miz following their run-in at WrestleMania.

Paul teamed with The A-Lister at The Showcase of the Immortals only to have The Miz drop him with a Skull-Crushing Finale following a win over The Mysterios. After speculation they might once again team up, Paul made it clear he’s out for payback at SummerSlam.”

Paul had a spectacle exhibition boxing bout with 50-0 Floyd “Money’ Mayweather in June 2021. Due to the status as an exhibition, no winner was declared.

His brother Jake was set to face the brother of heavyweight great Tyson Fury, Tommy Fury, who has been denied entry into the U.S.

Boxing Junkie reported the younger Fury was denied by Homeland Security. This followed initial reporting by TMZ that it was due to his family’s ties with Irish crime boss Daniel Kinahan, who is wanted by the U.S. government.

Tommy Fury shared the following on Instagram:

“I wanted to come on here and set the record straight before anybody else tries to.Me and my team this morning arrived at Heathrow Airport ready for the press conference, ready to fly out, and as soon as I entered the airport, I got pulled to one side, and I was told by the Homeland Security officer that was there that my ESTA had been denied, and I wasn’t able to travel to the USA for a reason that I apparently know.

I can stand here, and I say I’ve done absolutely nothing wrong, and I have no clue why I’m not allowed to travel to the USA.

“I’ve been training for the fight and like I said, that’s all I’ve been doing. I have no clue why they didn’t allow me to travel today, and neither any of my team nor my lawyers. So now I’m having to go to the embassies and all this sort of stuff trying to resolve it, and I’m in the middle of training.

I don’t know why this has happened today. It’s a massive shock to me and my whole team. Obviously, it’s a matter that needs to be resolved. These government issues are a lot bigger than the fight right now, and I’m just trying to get it sorted.”

Jake Paul then tweeted:

“Tommy Fury is in hiding. Bitch made.

Tyson Fury lawyer never got back to my team on setting up escrow for our $1M bet. Never believed in his brother.

Instructed my team to do a Hova and move On To The Next One”
